Photonics Explorer Kits

The Optical Society and Optics Institute of Southern California are proud to partner with Eyest to bring.........
   to Southern California and beyond.

The first kit was donated by Eyest to OISC Director Donn Silberman to promote the program to the OSSC members and other interested STEM educational outreach potential partners. This kit was brought to a number of OSSC meetings and received lots of interest.  

We have now received  and distributed 10 kits and trained 10 local high school teachers  here in Orange County, California. 

We are now seeking funding for 50 more kits @ $300 per kit.  We are actively recruiting more teachers.
