Abstract: The speaker will share insight based on his experience as entrepreneur, CEO, and angel investor. He will describe what makes startup companies successful, how to grow a business, and how investors make investment decisions. He will then describe in some detail a business model that is appropriate for starting a hardware company in today’s environment. The presentation ends with advice for engineer on how to prepare for a career as an entrepreneur while working on the job.
