-Andrew McKay-

 

Andrew McKay has 21 years experience in optical engineering.  The past 18 years have been with Northrop-Grumman Space Technology (formerly TRW) in Redondo Beach.  During that time he has worked on optical fabrication, optical metrology, coating and integration of optics into the Chandra and James Webb Space Telescopes and various earth observing sensors.  And on the fabrication coating and integration of optical systems used in high energy and solid state lasers.  Prior to joining Northrop he worked at National Technical Systems, in Los Angeles, where he developed photo-emulsions for holographic optical elements.  Mr. McKay earned B.S. degrees in Chemistry, and Biological Science from the University of California, Irvine in 1983.
