-Ashley Danial-
Ashley Danial earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1995, and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from UC/Berkeley in 1996 with an emphasis in controls and mechatronics. Ashley joined the TRW Space & Technology Division in Redondo Beach in January 1997. She spent the first four years of her career in the Spacecraft Mechanisms & Sensors department developing precision pointing assemblies (i.e. fast steering mirrors) for use in optical systems. She subsequently earned an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2000 with an emphasis in Applied Electromagnetics. She has spent the last six months at TRW in the Payload Sensor & Instrument Electronics department and is currently developing thermal control electronics for cryocoolers to be used in several high performance imaging systems.
