 Dan Liu is a Sr. Engineering Manager at Raytheon in the Optics and Lasers Department. Previously, he was Optics department manager and has also led numerous Advanced EO projects in HEL, Space and Tactical Sensors and Active EO. He has worked in the Telecom industry with Spatial Light Modulators at Corning, in the Medical industry with Excimer lasers at Bausch and Lomb, and in Aerospace with EO targeting systems as well as Business Development at both McDonnell Douglas and Hughes Aircraft. He moved from Washington to California in 1981 for the weather, and to work on Laser Systems at Hughes EDSG. He has been active in OSSC since 2005, led the organization of an OSSC meeting held at Raytheon in 2007 (featured presenter Lacy Cook), and would appreciate the opportunity to serve in a greater capacity. Education: BSEE University of Washington, MSEE and MBA, Cal State Univ, Long Beach.
